This company had issued 55500 IPO to the general public from 26 Magh 2078 to 02 Falgun 2078. Whereas 2 percent or 11,112 shares were secured for the employees and 5 percent or 27,780 shares for the collective investment funds were secured and the remaining 516,708 shares were opened for sale to the public.

In the company’s IPO, 2,415,919 applicants have applied for 2,78,35,420 shares worth Rs 2.78 billion. This is 53.87 times more than the 516,708 shares allotted to the public.

As there are more applications than demand in the company’s shares, only 51,670 eligible applicants will get shares at the rate of a minimum of 10 units as per the Securities Issuance and Distribution Directive. Therefore 2.364 million people will not get shares.

At present, the paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 504 million. The paid-up capital of the company will reach Rs. 555.6 million after the IPO allotment.

Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) was established in August 2015 as a public-private partnership (PPP) investment company with the motive to invest in projects from diverse sectors. ENL is promoted by the renowned business groups of Nepal, with the major holding by the Vishal Group and IME Group affiliated entities and individuals with a joint stake of more than 50%. Other promoters include industrialists, bankers, and professionals from diverse backgrounds. The Government of Nepal, represented by the Ministry of Finance, also currently holds a nominal stake at 0.5%. As of mid-January 2019, the company had a capital of NPR 450 million, representing 90% of post-IPO capital, assuming full subscription.
