The IPO issued by Barahi Hydropower Public Limited was allotted. The sales manager (NIBL Ace Capital) distributed the shares on Sunday morning. The pre-allotment of the IPO was completed on 16 December 2022.

In the company’s IPO, 12 lakh 58 thousand 421 people applied for 1 crore 43 lakh 51 thousand 830 shares. Out of which 65,927 applications have been cancelled. 11 lakh 92 thousand 494 people who are eligible have been included in the round system and the IPO has been distributed. The IPO of the company has been distributed through a round-robin system as there have been more applications than demand. According to this only 51 thousand 522 applicants have got shares in the company. They got shares at the rate of 10 shares.

The company issued an IPO to the general public from November 21 to today, November 26. The company has issued 1 lakh 4 thousand shares that were not sold during the IPO issue to the locals, 4 lakh 50 thousand shares allocated to the general public, and a total of 5 lakh 54 thousand shares have been issued to the general public. Out of which 27,000 shares were allocated to the collective investment fund, while 11,080 shares were allocated to the company’s employees. The general public has applied for the remaining 5 lakh 15 thousand 220 shares.

IPO for Locals People

The company issued an IPO to project-affected locals in the Baglung district from the 4th of October to the 25th of October. After the IPO issue, the company’s paid-up capital will be 250 million.

This company is operating the 1.5 MW Theule Khola hydroelectric project using the water of Theule Khola in Jaimini Municipality of Baglung. The project started commercial production on 24 June 2075 and is selling electricity to Nepal Electricity Authority.
